Character Name:Sarah-Richelle Douglass (Ray)
Age: 22
Hometown: Texas
Current Location: Texas
Bio: Sarah-Richelle was the eldest sibling of a two child family. Ray’s mother and father were originally from a farming town, and when Ray’s mother found out about her husband’s infidelity she moved her two children Ray and Sam to Texas. Every now and then her Husband would come up to Texas and try and rekindle their relationship and every single time, like a foul Ray’s Mother would welcome him back with open arms.
He would cheat on her constantly and it took a few years, until Ray’s mother no longer relied on her husband to support her small family and was working as a psychiatrist that she finally severed all connects and demanded a divorce. Ray had stopped trusting her father, when she was 15 years old and able to understand why screaming matches between her mother and father would be laced with the names of other women.
When the Divorce finally went through Ray had been accepted into MSU and she left gratefully. Her father had always been a sexist pig, who would demand to know why his two daughters weren’t in the kitchen cooking whenever he was hungry.
Ray went on to study Gender Equality and was grateful to her mother that she never told her father where she was. Ray got a different mobile phone number, refused to give it to her brother who was her father’s lap dog and build a life for herself with her thoughts constantly set on the career she would build for herself, with an aim to show her father that women could do things outside of the kitchen.
Ray soon became best friends with her roommate, the blonde admiring her friend’s equal drive for a good career.
The two young women were hanging out in their room together, watching a horrifically B-grade movie when screams alerted them to the beginnings of the outbreak. The two girls were at a loss, and while Ray’s roommate Melanie paled at the blood and carnage, she switched into survival mode and raced off through the hoard of walkers, dragging her friend with her.
Ray had learnt a long time ago, during her rebellious years as a teenager how to hot wire a car and with a hand gun shoved in her back pocket the two young women set off for Texas.
Ray was heartbroken when she finally reached her old home and found blood spatters across the walls and knew that her broken family had been murdered by the dead.

Roleplay Sample: “It’s so hot,” a blonde with black streaks throughout her hair noted, turning to glance across at her companion in the passenger seat, sweat pooling at her hair line.
“I know,” the brunette nodded and tore her eyes away from the blurred scenery and glanced across at her friend, with a heavy look. The two young women were weary and the strain of the past few weeks etched its mark across their faces. Heavy purple bags rested beneath their vastly different colored eyes and sweat and grim clung to their faces in streaks. Their clothes were holey, caked with dirt and dust and hung off the two young women like rags.
“We used the last jerry can yesterday. We need to stop for petrol soon. You should probably grab some food as well, I’m sick of muesli bars.” The brunette sighed wearily. When would this nightmare end? Surely, things like this didn’t happen. The dead couldn’t rise. It was biologically impossible and yet here they were trapped in the middle of a real life horror film, only they weren’t doctors, policemen or ex-military personal. They didn’t know the first thing about survival situations or handling weapons. They were two university students who were riding on the wings of lady luck’s generous pardon. They had wormed their way through a campus crawling with the walking dead, navigated their way across the country, avoided hordes of zombies and somehow managed not to die of starvation or thirst. The duo held no special skills and it was pure, sheer luck that they had made it this fair.
“Yeah, I could go for some beef jerky.” Ray, the blonde said as the sparks of life returned to her eyes. It was silly how something so small could reignite an internal fire, but when everything else was a whirl wind of chaos, finding joy in the simplest things was the only way you could survive.
“Beef jerky?” Mel let out a cracked laugh, a sound that had become so foreign to her recently, “Ray, you had a world of choices and you decide to go with beef jerky. Gross.”[/b][/size]
