Her eye's had completely fallen and she was resting and enjoying her time sleeping, but all she could think about was that maybe possibly Ray was dead and those bloody zombies ate him limb by limb and that scared her shitless, but she had a feeling that he was going to survive and she would see him by morning. While she was in the very back of the gas station with her eye's still shut she could hear moans and groans from walker's outside of the gas station. She was worried that they had found her and she would soon be their supper time delight. She was scared of those and after seeing her own mother and father getting killed by them she didn't wanna be turned or eaten completely by those things.
With the moonlight shining through the store she kept her eye's shut. There was just no way that she wanted to see the shadows of those walker's, and she knew it would be best to make no movement till the sunrise, but while her eye's were shut she began to hear gun fires from behind the gas station. Were there seriously more travelers that were trying to survive or was this all in her head? She had no idea but she didn't wanna think of what it might be, She just wanted to think of happy things and the child that was growing inside of her and the possibly future it might have if she kept herself alive through this horrible zombie infested world.
A few minutes passed and she just couldn't resist, but to open her eye's. It only felt right. The only thing that made her happy was knowing that she had come this far and was still walking without a bullet in between her eye's. She stood up from the spot that she was laying under and she kept close to the back of the station and was able to see walker's moaning and groaning and looking for something that they could just take a bite out of. Luckily for her they weren't paying attention to the gas station, but it looked like they were paying attention to the back of it, and she had no idea, until she thought of the gun fires that she had heard recently.
She was unsure of what to do because she knew if she tried to rescue any one other then Ray then that they might be fearful or just out to kill everyone that is alive, or they would take advantage, and possibly make the gas station an easy target for hoards of walker;s to try to get into so they could eat like a buffet. Dylan thought to herself and kept walking back and forth and thinking, but while she was doing that she began to hear knocking on on the back door and she was abit worried and unsure of who it might be.
Then her memory came back and she remembered Ray saying he would do that, but Dylan was now confused. It wasn't morning yet not even close and Ray had told her he would be here in the morning. In a way this kinda made her mad because that was his plan, and she didn't understand why he would be down here now, but then she thought some more and figured that it could possibly be other survivors.
She scratched her scalp and kept thinking and then just realized she would just ask who this person is before she would open the door for them. "Who is it? Ray?" She asked through the back door. "Cause if this is someone who is bitten or a fellow walker you may not enter. I am waiting for an awesome Heroic guy named Ray who said he would be here in the morning, even though its night time." She said in a firm tone, but she just had that feeling that it most likely was Ray and that he had been sneaky and probably followed her when she certainly did not need to be followed not one bit. "So if this is Ray, Say something, If not Go find your own place please!" She shouted through the door and awaited to here something else said while she began to unlock the door in front of her, but instead she just opened it up and shone her flashlight. "Ray! Get in quick" She said with a smile and motioned him into the station and quickly locked the door before any walker's could get to them.

The night was frigid, but the smell of all four of the dead bodies was still horrible. He was just to give up and leave, thinking she was dead, but then he heard a faint noise on the other side. Like scuttling. He pressed his ear upon the door and heard someone or something else on the other side, then her voice - muffled behind the door - was audible. "I know I'm heroic!" He boasted, "But it's me! Ray Blevins, 16 years old and you're Dylan 18 years old and pregnant!" He whispered loudly through the door.
Then the metal door quickly swung inward and Dylan's figure appeared and motioned him in. He stepped in and set his gun - which still had some of the taped on broken bottles on it. "Hey." He said as he entered. "I thought I should come a little early, you are pregnant." He said.
He knew he was wrong to send her out alone but he felt rebellious again, which he hadn't for a long time. Seconds later he had his almost empty bag opened and he grabbed two of everything, two sodas, two bags of chips, two candy bars, two pens, two packets of paper, and two of everything else he could fit. Once he was done his bag was almost so big he couldn't wear it, but he managed. "Look, we have to leave. Even though I shot those four Zombies with silencers, they still could of heard it. And the Hoarder I encountered is probably coming back for me." He explained.
He placed the bag on the counter and grabbed all the money and a pack of cigarettes (in case he wanted one the moment he died, or to trade for something better). He looked around the store to try and see if anything was missing from his bag but looked up at Dylan satisfied. But then he saw in the bulbous mirror in the corner and saw how dirty he was. His face, smeared with dirt and his 5 o'clock shadow was becoming grimy. He then looked around the store for some shaving cream, baby wipes and razors and excused himself for a minute while he went into the bathroom and cleaned himself up. A few minutes later he came out nice and clean feeling and said, "You can have a few minutes too if you want."

Nightmares Can Only Turn Into Reality...... >.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.< It was a great feeling knowing that he had survived those zombies and that he wasn't one of them yet, which she knew it would be possible for any of them to become zombiefied if they stayed in an area for too long and she understood that safety always came first no matter what it was how people lived and if thy lived in danger it would just be more of an easy sign to become the dead. She laughed but then stopped when he mentioned that part about her being preggo she already knew that it wasn't like she just found out and she was shocked about it. "Ray its not like i don't know that, i got the memo when i took a pregnancy test." She told him and just shook her head.
What did he mean by that? When he said what he said Dylan was abit frustrated and didn't understand what he had meant by saying that. It seemed that he was making it sound like she was disabled and couldn't take care of herself and she knew that she could. "Just because i am with child does not mean that i can't take care of myself." She said while she popped her knuckles. "I can take care of myself perfectly fine, i can shoot guns and i can fish, and never have any of those things came close enough to bite me, I'm to fast for those bastards." She added and then she began to put food items in her bag along with five water bottles and some vitamins that she knew she had to take now considering she was having a baby and wanted it to be in the best health possible.
The corner of her eyebrow lifted while she listened to him speak. When the hell did he encounter a hoard? She didn't even encounterany walkers until she opened the door to let him in. This was exactly why the plan was for him to stay in the station till morning, but then he decided to come down and be a hero when she didn't need a hero, well not yet at least. "You encountered a Hoard? Where the fuck at? I mean come on, some walker's give up once you ran as fast as the silver surfer in the fantastic four." She said, but only knowing that was her expierence with those things and she kinda wanted to get some rest before she had to move onto another city that would be safer.
After she saw him enter the bathroom after all he did look kinda messy and all he came out looking more refreshed and she heard him speak to her. She looked in the somewhat dirty mirrior and decided to just clean herself so she wouldn't smell like fish and blood. "You know what that sounds like a terriffic idea." She said as she quickly grabbed some baby wipes and some make up and all of the girl stuff that she could find. She went into the bathroom and fixed her hair making it look like a fine raven pony a little bit messy and she put on make up just because she hadn't wore make up in the past month and she cleaned herself up looking like she had just took a shower, but also throwing up in the toilet cause she had some morning sickness. She walked out of the bathroom and quickly grabbed a pack of gum and opened it up and took out to pieces. She looked at him. "What? Morning sickness, not the best after breathe smell." She said with a funny smile and walked a little closer to the door that she had chained not seeing any bodies wandering the area. "So far we are safe and clear of walker's but if you still wanna leave we can leave, your incharge," She said letting her shoulders hang and her pistol in her right hand.

As she was giving him a lecture about being fast he realized he's been a jerk. He was thinking she was helpless and that won't just get her killed it'll get him killed too. He had to leave less of an emotional connection between them so they both can survive. "I'm sorry, that was rude of me." Then she asked about the 'hoardes' he had 'encountered'. "What? I said Hoarder."
Has he been the only one to know about this? "You know, scavengers that'll kill anything in sight, zombie or human. Have you seriously never encountered one?" He asked as he stepped the front doors. The chains were on secruley and it took him a few seconds to unravel. Just before he slid the chains out from the handles a man with a grimy beard and a beanie. The man's mouth ran across the glass, leaving a trail of blood and sending Ray flying back with frieght.
"Holy shit!" He squelled as he smashed his back into the counter. Then the zombies that had chased him into the glass drug him a few feet away from the door and started their morning feast. The face was seered into Ray's mind as he recognized him as the man who had chased him in the forest. "Tha - that's the Hoarder I was just talking about!" He said, shakily pointed his finger at the blood stain on the glass.
Then he got up and wrapped the chains back around and stuck a nearby crowbar through the handle bars. They couldn't go through the front door without causing a ruckus and attracting more zombies. "Change of plans. . . slightly." He whispered. He quickly got to the counter and grabbed his backpack, it was heavier but light enough for him to meneuver easily. As he headed to the back of the room, he shouldered his M16 and slowly pushed the door open.
The sun shone in his eye and he blinked hard as his eyes adjusted. Once they did he found the area to be clear. "Follow me." He whispered. Even though the sun was out it was a bit chilly out and he could easily see his breath emit from his mouth. He waited a few seconds before opening the door all they way and heading west, towards the rising sun.
He reached the end of the small parking lot and peaked his head around the Gas Station. Nothing was visible, but the munching and crunching of the zombies in the front were more audible. He hesitated for a few seconds, then sprinted to the other side of the street into a narrow and dark alley. He then turned into the back door of an aparment complex and accidently unsettled the dust, making him cough. It was dark, dusty, and eroded in a lot of places. Luckily no signs of any Walkers.
Then he ran up the stairs and he opened the front door to look where he had ended up. He was looking at a quiet street, no zombies, no humans, and no dangers. He looked down at the Gas Station and saw that the Zombies had moved on East. "Come on, we gotta keep going." He said, stepping down the front steps and jog/walking up the street.

Nightmares Can Only Turn Into Reality...... >.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.< Blinking her eye's a few times at Ray she didn't understand why now he would put on a young gentleman act. Most boys his age would just walk and point and then let out a horrible laugh. Which was not pleasing to the 18 year old what so ever. "Your damn right that was rude of you. If i couldn't survive on my own i would be a fly on the wall and one of those things by now. I'm not your average pregnant eightteen year old." She scoffed off, but she had to say what was on her mind, and besides she was in a highschool where everyone stared down on her and now she could be the one laughing since she was the one that was still alive and not feeding on human flesh. "Wait a Hoarder? Aren't those the dudes that have tons of guns and ammo on them? And smell like.....rotting skin and blood?" She asked while her face gave off a disgusted expression.
Shaking her head at his question was all that she could do. She had heard about them, but never came face to face with one even though many people that she had camped with before had, but not her she was at least lucky in some way. "Nope never in my life. I mean at the camp i was at before i met you i heard stories about them, but never seen one. So basically i thought it was some sort of myth or something. I didn't know that they were real people who killed anything even if it wasn't a threat to them." She said and walked to where he was, but didn't understand why he was going to take down the chains on the door until
Until he yelled' holy shit'. "This is why we should stay here. Those things are now out there and we are safer in here with food and water, they can't harm us if we stay put." She stammered and stomped her foot down, but knew in the end he wouldn't listen and that they would have to leave this place sooner or later. She put her hands up in a fright. "Thats the guy that could of killed you?" She pointed and shook her head. "Looks like those walkers got to him before he could get to you, at least the whole Hoarder situation we don't have to worry about anymore, but we still of more of those things to worry about." She said to him and bit her lip lightly.
She watched him go behind the counter and was completely lost. "What are the new plans then? Get killed by one of those things? Or stay in here and perish away with all of the other crap in here?" She asked. She hated not knowing what plans were until last minute it was like none of her plans really mattered, but she wasn't going to let him know that. It would just be something that would stick into her mind and stay there.
Her arms raised up in the air and she wasn't going to be stubborn about this. Survival was better then getting eaten by those things and she knew it and she would just have to follow his lead and make sure they stayed alive and stuck with eachother. She followed him out of the gas station and ran where he ran. She could see some walkers having a feast of bodies with blood and guts over in a parking lot, and jut the thought was making her sick, but she didn't wanna show that it was doing that to her. When the dust came out the air she let out a few quick coughs. "Great dust, not so pleasant." She said to him and squinted her eye's.
She ran up the steps to the apartment complex and looked at where the walkers were going. "Ok, but when can we take a breather and relax? I'm not trying to complain or anything, but we can't just be on the move every single day. We gotta relax and rejuvinated or else our bodies could just give up on us. And remember one of us is having a baby sometime, not completely soon, and i don't wanna keep moving every minute of the day or else we could die." She said making a point to him, but not even sure if he would listen to her advice or not. She hopped down the steps and walked down the pavement of the street. She didn't see any sign of walkers which was good, but she knew sometime today they would run into more and that was just what she wanted at all.

'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' The sun was blinding his eyes and as he looked down the street he could feel the heat on his back. He placed the gun on his shoulder and aimed down his sights and scoped the area ahead of them. He could see the mirage of the water on the street but recognized his thirst right away, but he was determined to at least get a half a mile without stopping. As he observed no zombies were present, luckily. As he was doing so Dylan was saying something about taking breaks every so often, but as his iron sights passed over the horizon he noticed a small white building with yellow text and he completely ignored her rant. The sign read,
Ol' Texas Gun-shop After a moment of pondering he decided to enter the shop. He had many encounters where he has needed a silencer, and now could be the perfect time to get one. He looked to his right, then to his left down the street and crossed. Oddly he had a habit as he was hit by a car long ago and as he stepped to the sidewalk near the building he slowly walked (still looking down the sight) and stopped at the front door. One of the doors was broken and leaning inside on the top end indicating someone got here first.
He placed his gun in a comfortable position and pushed the front door, this place too was dusty but he made sure not to make sudden movements that would cause the dust to fly everywhere. But as he had entered he coincidently pushed the working door too far and it bumped a desk with it's dim lamp flickering. He was very fortunate it wasn't loud or dust unsettling for once that happened he looked down at his feet and saw foot markings. They looked as if they were dragging but he could easily make out boot markings on the toe part of the foot. Someone else was here and he didn't like it.
"Get your weapon ready." He whispered. And just as he did he heard scuttling and a screaming man ran at him with nubby arms extended and black goo dripping from it's mouth, spluttering into small beads on Ray's face. He was pushed back and he closed his eyes and felt pressure on his gun which was jabbing into his stomach. He quickly found the trigger and pulled spewing the black goo everywhere.
It was still squirming and reaching for Ray's neck when he opened his eyes a second after, but the nose of his gun and the shortness of the Zombie's arms prevented it from actually grabbing him. "Ah shit!" He grunted as the pressure on his stomach grew heavier. He tried to push it over but the Walker wasn't budging even if it was just failing. "Please help." He said with a breathless voice, the pain was over bearing--a 120 pounds of pressure was becoming heavy for this young fellow.
