'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' It was awkward, after she told what happened she looked behind him. Probably seeing something. Ray turned to look but nothing was there. As Ray turned back to her she ran past him up the hill and shot a zombie he'd missed. "I told you they could smell the blood!" He slung his M16 over his shoulder and unsheathed his knife. He turned to Harvey. He was so far away. "I need ammo!" Ray yelled as he turned to run towards the camp.
After a few very long seconds he made it, grabbing the ammo bag and the canteens which he too slung around his shoulder. "Harvey, we need to go." He said as he ran back towards Dylan. She was all the way up the hill by the time he got there and he handed her a few spare clips which he filled on his way back. "Here, I got some for me too..." He placed the clip slightly in the slot and slammed it in. Then wiggled it to make sure it stayed. "Hopefully Harvey's coming." He said taking the canteens off his shoulders and handing one to her and leaving one for Harvey.
"We need to go." He said. He knew leaving could get Harvey into trouble, but it was either we wait for him to dissemble the tent, grab everything else and get to us and then get wasted by a horde of zombies, or leave now. "Do you want to wait?" He said as he was kneeling down, writing 'Harvey' with a Sharpie dark & bold marker. "But let me tell you something, if we wait, we all might die."
He would know, he's been in this situation before.

Already Dylan could see Ray like her little know it all brother. He was right but she still didn't know everything about the walking dead. All she knew was that they fed on human flesh and thats how people became infected and that they quickly would turn into one themselves. "But that blood was dead and old, ok ok though you were right. Now we just gotta get a move on and away from this area before we all become supper for the dead." She said as se quickly got all of her weapons together and put them in her big back pack. This was horrible but if Harvey was just going to stay there then it was best for Dylan and Ray to get a move on.
She quickly grabbed the canteen and put it into her duffle. There was no hope for Harvey it didn't seem like he was moving at all. "Ok cool, i have tons in my bag, i always go into the nearest ranger station and jack what i can find so i'm all stocked up." She said to him but a frown appeared on her face. "He doesn't seem to be moving, i think it is best if we just go, actually he isn't even there." She said noticing that he wasn't there anymore. Oh hell now was the time to get a move on as she noticed more bodies were coming from the tree's and moving closer.
She shook her head at him. It was best for them to go instead of wait. "No i think we should go, before we all do end up dying." She said to him with a quick glane and then she began to run through the tree's and shooting anything that came remotely close to her. "Ray where are we going to run to now?" She asked him while they were running for safety.

'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' He didn't judge her decision, but Harvey was long gone and their was little hope for him. "Well," He said looking up at the sun. It was just overhead and it was steadily increasing at a slow rate. "we're heading west now. Maybe we'll hit Mertzon." He was running out of breath and he knew Mertzon was a long way away from here.
His gun was heavy with the new ammo and his knife was being of little to no help at the moment. Suddenly as he slightly tripped over a small root a zombie tripped over him. He cut it's throat as it grabbed him by the collar of his hoodie. "Oh fuck!" He yelled as they both landed on the soft ground on their side. It was biting at him, it's teeth almost gone. He then remembered the grenades.
They were Fred's and they were filled with the Serum. He knew the serum wouldn't work but he grabbed his bag and pulled out the orange and green grenade he'd helped painted with Fred. He shoved it down the monsters gullet and heaved himself up & sprinted to catch up to Dylan. Behind them, about 2 to 3 seconds later a loud concussive sound reached their ears. It would attract zombies to the lake even more, but at least it'll keep the freaks away from them. The noise of the explosion and the pistol shots Dylan was firing in the distance made his ears ring and his head disoriented.
He - by mistake - went off course, losing Dylan's trail.
Finally, when his brain calmed down he realized that he was far away from Dylan. His brain then went crazy once again. "DYLAN?!" He called out, cupping his heads to make sure she heard. He wasn't the type to cry from loneliness, but he was about to. "DYLAN?!" He called out.
"Dylan! Dylan." He made sure his gun and his knife were safe and he headed west. He hoped she was smart and stayed going west. "DYLAN!" He would occasionally call out as he ran west.
Then he heard moans. Not one, not two. But maybe 10 or 20. He turned to look, and realized yelling wasn't the smartest way to go. They didn't see him yet, but they heard him, and now he was being chased.

All she heard him say was west. She bolted that way but then realized that he was no where near her. All thoughts kept running into her head that maybe one of those bastards took him down and were eating him. This was just great she didn't wanna be all alone with no one else besides her. She knew it was only better to have people to travel with then alone. She ran and saw two more walkers nd shot them in between the eye's. The only thing that made her lucky was being able to run fast and knowing how to shoot things in between the eye's.
Her eye's lit like fire when she saw more walker's coming her way. "Oh fuck no!" She shouted to herself while she kept running as fast as she could. This was horrible and in the worst way possible she thought she was going to die. Finally after bolting out of the forest she made it to a street where it looked pretty empty. She saw empty cars and no signs of walkers. So far so good and she decided to rest herself upon a car so she could catch her breathe. She knew that if she ran to much it would just hurt the little life that was still growing in her. "Dammit where is Ray? Please oh please tell me he didn't die?" She asked herself as she found a spot on top of a car and sat there waiting to see if she would hear anything.
Looking into the dim blue sky she was just waiting on a sign to tell her that he had made it safe and that he had not been more injured what so ever. While she had been looking up in the sky she would hear a name being called out in the woods that were close to the car that she was sitting on. The name that was being shouted out and the voice seemed familiar. She shot herself up realizing it was Ray calling out to her. "Ray!" She shouted and was doing something stupid and reckless but she was not going to leave him in the woods to rot.
She stood up from the car and walked quickly into the woods not seeing any signs of the walker's just yet. She looked around and called for Ray. "Ray where are you? Ray hurry up and show yourself!" She called out until she began to hear moans and knew that the walkers were coming up behind her. "Fuck Ray where are you?" She shouted out as she ran until she found a little ranger station. Instead of running the other way she ran to the station and quickly opened the door and saw no sign of any walkers in the tiny building. She locked the door and found herself a closet that would be a little bit more safe then just standing in the station. The closet was empty other then a shotgun and a few shells. She loaded it up and locked herself inside the station. "Oh Ray please hurry up and find me, i don't wanna die in here." She said to herself as she could hear banging on the station door.

'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' The forest made the ground dark and his right eye was throbbing & covering his eye so he could only see with the other. Then everything slowed and he heard a distant voice yelling. He couldn't identify but he raised his gun with his left hand and levelled his eyes on the sights. It was hard - shooting with your left eye. But he managed to shoot each one in or between the eyes.
He heard the voice again and he looked around his surroundings. Zombies were littered around the perimeter of the clearing and his gun was hot, but only had two more bullets in the chamber. He sunk down to his knees and started feeling queesy. His swollen eye had somehow gotten his equilibrium jacked up.
Ray shook his head and whispered to himself. "Everything is fine, I'll make it. I heard her. I heard her" What he meant by her was his sister who had spoken to her. Leading him towards somewhere safe. "That's impossible, she's dead." He reassured himself. Then two more came out and more quickly this time shot each in the brain. Then unslung his M16.
Ray specked his gun and placed his knife in it's holster. "Head west." He reminded himself. "Head west." He then helped himself up with the gun. He then cracked his knuckles and shook himself all over. The moans that had once diminshed for a few seconds grew again.
He needed a silencer, this was getting ridculous. He then carried on west making sure to watch the sun every few minutes. After 30 minutes he was exhausted but was relieved to see a shabby and weathered Ranger Station. He stepped up the wet stairs and knocked on the door. No answer.
He knocked several more times and decided no one was there and scoped around the back. He found a back entrance but due to the wetness of the forest, the wood surrounding the door had grown in size and nudged the door in it's frame. Ray pulled and pulled, but nothing worked. But after he punched it twice in anger he played the thought of giving up.
Then he pulled greatly and the door gave way, making him slip on the moss ridden stair. As he landed on his back he quickly - almost instantly - realized he could not breath. "Oh my god, oh god." He growled. He got up and look were he landed and saw rocks. Very rough and bloody rocks. He felt his back. It was wet and warm. He found his breathe and regained some awareness.
"Fuck me." He whispered. Then he grabbed his knife which had gotten dislodged from it's holder and climbed the steps, and staggered inside. Then his head became light and he imagined himself floating to the cieling and lying there, but when he snapped out of it he was on the ground in a small pool of blood.
"Med-kit" He whispered as he reached for a box with a large red cross inside a circle. Then his eyes shut and everything became black. It felt like a dreamless sleep but was awoken when something pushed him on his stomach. "Who are you?" He managed in a muffled voice. Then he fell back asleep. He was sleepy, very sleepy.

Being scared shitless that she was going to die in this Ranger station was not a good feeling. Now she felt stupid for even trying to rescue another person but she was just that kind of person who didn't like to see other people in danger. She was that type of girl who actually had guts to go and risk her life for someone else. She could hear what her father would have been telling her if he was still alive. "You need to worry about yourself first and not others, your number one and never let anyone else pull you down." Her father was always one of those men that wanted their kids to be at the top, but all her life she was different and not one of those people that cared to be at the top of anything.
As she was remembering that she began to rock herself back and forth. Oh how she wanted this to be a bad nightmare and be over with, but she knew that there was no way in hell that this was just a nightmare. She stopped herself from rocking realizing that she had to just had to be strong for the little life that could be the next step to a new world. She placed her soft and warm hands on her tummy. "I gotta be strong for you little fella or else we are all doomed." She spoke to herself in a graceful tone. Suddenly while she was in the closet it sounded like the walkers were disappearing and giving up trying to make her their supper.
Knocking on the closet door to make sure there was nothing outside of the building she did that. She slightly opened the closet door and looked around not seeing anything dangerous at all. So she began to think that this would be the safe haven for right now and hopefully Ray would find her before Walker's came back. She stood up from the shallow closet and kept her eye's gazing around the Station. She walked around for a few moments and decided to open the door and see if Ray was any where near sight.
As she opened the door she found a body and the body was still alive and she saw a puddle of blood. She looked at it closer. "Oh my Ray!" She said and tugged on his body and brought him into the station. At least no her worries her gone about him being dead but now she had to take care of him and get his head healed up. She found a paper towel and a little bit of water and places it on his head. "Everything will be alright now, your in the cabin with me." She said while she placed the cold cloth on his forehead. She brushed his hair as she did so and looked at him. "I'm just glad that your alive and not dead." She added while she pressed the cloth onto his forehead and put a towel underneath his head. She let him lay there while she scrubbed off the blood that she had dragged in when she brought him in since she knew it would only attract walker's.
She went back to him and put her hands on his cheeks. "Do you feel any better Ray Ray?" She asked unsure if he would feel any better at all. Dylan knew that he was weaker now and that his head injury could of been worse, but she was just thankful that he was alive.

'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' "What are you doing on the floor, mate?" Suddenly Ray's eyes opened and he was lost in a forest. But it wasn't the same forest he was in when he fell. He wasn't bleeding, his eye wasn't swollen, and his gun was gone. It was strange. He knew he was dreaming, but at the same time he didn't. As Ray looked around the open woods he caught the glimpse of a shadow running down a hill to his left. "Wait!" Ray called out, "Who are you?"
He had heard that voice before and the name, the identity of the person was becoming more and more clear to him. But as he was getting up and stretching something knocked him back over. "What the - ?" He managed before he smashed his head on the ground. Then his short but very memorable dream was becoming dark and then he was starting to feel tingly all over.
The cold wooden floor of the Ranger Station was tingling Ray's cheek as he was coming to. But as he was he heard Dylan's voice asking him if he was better. What he mumbled was completely to the contrary. "I'm fine, just fell on a rock." His back ached and his head cringed at the slightest annoying sound and right now, the birds in the trees were the culprit. He groaned as he turned his head toward Dylan. "You found me?" He asked.
He didn't know how, but she had somehow found him and saved him. How? He had gone way off course and figured it was impossible for anyone to find him. But then, as he leaned against his elbow he remembered his dream. Who was the person who woke him up? Who knocked him down? And where was he?
He coughed a few times and looked at the doors. The one he tried first was bolted shut and the one he had obviously came in from was wide open. "Shut the door, tie a rope from the knob to the coat hanger. We can stay here for a night maybe." He was exhausted and if he hadn't fell, he would've done exactly as he had said.

In a way she was very worried about him. She didn't wanna see anything happen to him and the fact that she managed to save him was a miracle in itself. She kept patting a warm washcloth on his forehead. She was treating him like someone she cared about even though he was a couple years younger, but he seemed so gentle and he was sweet and all probably minus his hormones and all then he would be a great guy, but not in a relationship kinda way. She saw him like a little brother and that was final.
She brushed his short hair with her fingers. Dylan knew she had to learn how to take care of other's and be the best that she could be at it. Finally when he spoke a smile came across her face. "Ray i don't think you just fell on a Rock, your head was bleeding and it was a rather nasty sight and all, but I'm surprised that your alive." She said to him while she looked out the open door and saw some movement in the tree's.
Dylan listened to him and quickly stood herself up and shut the door and tied a rope that was in the station and used a hangar. In a way she didn't think this would be the best place to sleep for the night. There was hardly any food in the abandoned station and the window's had boards against them, but she knew that walker's would be again in the area and looking for something to eat. After she did that she leaned herself against the closet door and closing her eye's. She was still so terrified that she would not make it and she would end up dying a gruesome death to the head because she had been bitten. It would be her worst nightmare that she didn't ever want to come true.
"All i can say Ray is that I'm glad that your alive." She said as she still kept her head leaned on the closet door. She was glad that he had survived but knowing that Harvey was mostly dead now worried her. It was his choice and now she was raising their baby on her own and that was a scary thought too. She sighed and just looked around the empty station thinking if this place was really that safe or if they should find a place some where in a different location.

'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' Suddenly, as Dylan was tying the rope to the door and the coat hanger Ray felt light headed and as he tried to remember who he was, his name became blank. He closed his eyes and all he could see were ten letters floating at him. A - N - I - B - L - Y - R - E. He forgot his name, but he knew it wasn't Aniblyre. "All I can say Ray, is that I'm glad that your alive." She said. But the word Ray was muffled by a loud ringing that only he could hear.
"Urgh! I can't remember my name!" He whispered loudly. His voice was weird as his vocal cords let out the cry. "Quick, say my name." He said but mid sentence he was interrupted by a loud, very loud ringing. Then the word smacked him across the face. 'RAY!' Kimberly called. 'RAY IS YOUR NAME, DOOFUS!' She screamed in his face. Then he woke up.
None of it was real. He had fallen asleep when he closed his eyes. "These dreams." He said softly, seeing Dylan on the other side and her head leaning against the closet. "They feel so real." This was definatly something else. He was probably very disoriented from the amount of blood he'd lost. Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay awake! He told himself.
The day went by quick, and so did his injury. He was able to walk around, but only a few minutes. He had done a lot in those few hours after waking up. He had made sure all doors and windows were sealed and managed to make a few traps outside while Dylan was asleep. She was probably very tired but Ray didn't know if babies had an effect on sleepiness and hunger, or just hunger.
He checked the guns and took stock of everything they had. Four Serum Grenades, a pistol, a shotgun, his M16 and 12 magazines of ammunition. But the one thing they lacked was food and he knew that they better moved today or die tomorrow. Every time he headed for a city he'd know when to enter or when to exit. It was like he knew when bad things occurred in all the cities he was near and right now was not a good time, but tomorrow wasn't either.

Nightmares Can Only Turn Into Reality...... >.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.< Still having her head leaned against the wall her mind was wandering and she began to dream it was the only comfort that she could get anyways and she hadn't been able to dream as much then just have horrible nightmares of limbs getting torn ff of people. "Dylan look you did it, Your alive and you found us." She heard but she was still asleep. The voice sounded so familiar and it felt like maybe she had just been living in a nightmare this whole time. "Dylan sweetie Ma and Pa are alive our darling little angel." Another voice spoke, but then something horrible had happen. Walkers were eating them and tearing them into pieces. She squinted her eye's with them shut. "Leave them be!" She shouted and then she opened up her eye's and realized she was just dreaming.
She rubbed her Face in a panic and heard what Ray was saying. Were they both dealing with dreams that seemed so were, but were not real at all. She stood up with her body shaking from the nightmare she had just had. She didn't wanna cry, but at the same time this dream she had was actually in a way similar to how her parents death had happened. Dylan listened to Ray speak and she had to agree these dreams were like a virtual reality and they had been getting weirder for her as well. "Tell me about it." She told him with her body still shaking with fright. "What was your dream about Ray?" She asked while she walked back and forth through the station. For some odd reason it felt like her nightmare was telling her to head east, but she didn't know if it was a good idea or just a horrible one.
After walking back and forth she sat next to Ray. "Ray can i tell you something?" She asked him with her legs crossed and her beaming brown eye's looking at him. "I'm terrified of what might be the outcome if we stay here any longer, I think we need to head East and find a nice suitable place where walkers won't be lurking cause i doubt we will survive being here over night and if we do, well we'd be lucky, but this place isn't even that safe." She said with a scratch to her head but she was just saying how she felt and she could feel another shiver in her spine. She was just getting an uneasy feeling that this area was getting dangerous and that this could be their resting place if they over welcomed their stay in this station.

'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' He realized that he had woken her up and as she did, she looked angry. . . or frustrated. He watched her pace and felt bad for interrupting her dream. Then she spoke. She wanted to know what his dream was, but he didn't feel comfortable telling her. "I - uh. . ." He started.
It was hard recalling dreams right after they occurred, but he managed to rake his brain and find it. "First, when I was knocked out. I had a dream of someone I knew asking me why I was on the floor. I knew him but I forgot. Then I was knocked back on my head and that's when I woke up. Then, my second dream - " He paused when he heard a noise outside, but realized it was a woodpecker.
"I forgot my name, then my sister yelled it in my face. My sister is dead, my whole family is." He blinked hard then continued. "What does this mean? I just have this feeling that if we stay, we die." He finished.
It was true. If they stayed in the Ranger Station, the zombies would break in. But another part of him did want to stay. Then she stopped pacing and sat next to him. "Yeah," He said awkwardly, "you can tell me anything." Then she told him about wanting to leave.
He felt the same, but then - at the same time - he didn't. "Listen. I've been lucky so far, I just think we should stay for the day. Then we leave at night. I just have these feelings you know? And those feelings have saved my life millions of times." He put his head on the wooden chair he was by.
"But tomorrow, I think they'll get very hungry." He turned his head & looked her in the eye to make sure she understood. "We're going to leave tonight." He repeated with a groan. He leaned to the left and pulled out his iPod Touch. The digital clock on the top of the screen read 1:37 PM. It was the afternoon and they had all day to get ready.

Nightmares Can Only Turn Into Reality...... >.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.< When she heard his words it was like they had simlilar dreams just with different people in them. This was weird and the feeling that it was best for them to leave before dark was tapping her on her shoulder. There was just a horrible feeling spinning through her head that once it became night that there is more of a chance of them becoming a meal for the undead and she knew it. She had been lucky and was able to take things from places before giant hordes of walker's would have been able to get her, and now she just had to convince him that it would be best if maybe they took off within the next few hours instead of waiting to become a zombie meal.
"Don't you think that is abit odd that we are having dreams with people we knew and all?" She asked him. Her dreams before meating him were basically all about how to survive and now suddenly her deceased parents ended up popping into her dream and it made her feel like maybe they were telling her that this place isn't as safe as it looked. Her eye's looked around the empty station and she felt like she could already hear the moaning of the undead nearbye. She put her arms together and shivered abit more. She blinked a few times at him and she thought it was even more weirder tha they both had those feelings that they might die if they stay. "I think this means if we over stay our welcome we will die and that is a sure thing." She responded with a harsh tone but she was just being honest and wasn't going to hold back how she felt.
Scratching her head she didn't understand why he thought it was safer to leave at night. She knew best that nighttime was the worst time to travel elsewhere in this mess that the world had became and it would be harder to see and anyone would be able to get bitten at anytime. She shook her head in a disagreement. "If we travel at night there is another sure thing that we are going to die." She stated while she stood herself up in frustration. She had made it this far by traveling in the daylight and there was no way in hell she was going to risk a chance of getting killed if she traveled at night.
She began pacing again once more. Did this kid not understand that traveling at night was the most dangerous time to travel with walker's? Was he brain dead or something? "Listen Ray i've managed to survive and my gut is telling me that we should leave within the next two hours or else we will die, and it won't be pretty what so ever." She told him but she just was being honest with the kid and letting him know how she felt about the situation. Her eye's blinked a few times and she just wanted to get to hell out of there. Her ears opened up more and she began to hear some moaning coming from outside the station. "Shit really? Now they are coming for us." She said and stopped the pacing and looked around the station. "Ray lets quickly get things together before dawn ok?" She asked him and was hoping that he would cooperate and not be a stubborn jackass about leaving before night fall.

'I killed you! But you were already dead - oh fuck you!' No, no, no, no, no, no! This is not happening! She has to trust me! I've done this millions of times! He screamed in his mind, but he didn't say anything as she was giving him a lecture. His brain was too busy thinking of a new plan.
And then he felt barf reaching at his throat. We can't leave! We can't! "Listen, I've done this millions of times. I'm really good at navigating no matter what the conditions, I just feel that something is wrong with the city! Maybe your emotions are blocking what you really feel."
"Maybe you don't like dreaming of your relatives and I think that you think that this place has something to do with it. And if that's the case," He stood up, wincing at the pain in his ribs and back. "I have a plan." He hoped this worked and in his mind he was solving every problem. "You go now, wait for me at Mertzon. Find the closest Gas station and lock up."
"I know that most Gas Stations have some sort of chain to put on the doors. If something knocks like this -" He bent down and knocked five times - paused and knocked twice more. "Then open that door. If I don't get there by morning go either North or - " Then the moans grew from the silence and he whispered, "go north-east." He finished. Then in a flash he packed her shotgun, some ammo, and her canteen.
"Remember, if I don't get back by morning, or the doors don't lock, run north." He repeated as he handed her her things. A few hours later the moans started to die down, but he wasn't convinced. It was about time Dylan left so he went up to the front door and unbolted it as quietly as possible. He waited for a second and opened the door quickly to let her out.

Nightmares Can Only Turn Into Reality...... >.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.^.< OH my god seriously? Was what she was thinking in her head. Was he not listening to her one bit or was he just that stupid and stubborn. She was listening to his plan, but there was no way in hell she would go out there by herself no matter what. It was to dangerous and he seemed like he didn't get the memo on how dangerous it truly was out there. While she listened to him speak she recalled him saying something about her emotions. Just because she was pregnant didn't mean anything. "Ray my emotions are not blocking anything, I've learned to be on my own and i fucking know what i'm talking about. Just because i'm carrying a baby doesn't mean that i'm overreacting." She said with a brush of her bangs.
Wow he just seemed like he had no idea what he was talking about. After he had finished about his plan Dylan had to protest. She didn't like the thought of finding the nearest gas station and locking herself up. That was what mad men did and she wasn't crazy she was just looking out for herself and Ray and he just seemed like he didn't understand that one bit at all. "Dude that is not the case at all, my dream was simliar to how my parents died execpt, have you ever seen the Wizard of Oz? It was like that and then zombies came in and ripped them limb from limb after i awoke in my dream, and i think of meaning of it is telling me that this place is going to turn into a horde of zombies and we are going to get torn from limb to limb." She told him with her foot down.
There she stood shaking her head. In no way was she going to travel out there in the woods and lock herself up in the nearest gas station that was not an option. "Wow hold it there cowboy, i don't like that plan one bit, we need to stick together, cause one of us is going to die if i go out there it will be me, if we go together it won't be neither of us." She told him with a uneasy look on her face. She was terffied, but then yet again maybe he knew what he was talking about and just maybe they both would survive. "Ok fine you convinced me, but please becareful ok? I need you to stay alive ok? Please don't die on me." She said to him and she took everything that she needed. As he opened the door she gave him a tight hug. She whispered in his ear. "Please becareful and i'll see you in the morning." She said and kiss his cheek.
She quickly began to move after he let her out of the station. The light was still showing through the tree's and everything looked good. She didn't see any sign of the undead and that was a good thing. She managed to walk very quickly through the tree's She carried her handgun if she needed to shoot anything that was walking and that would come after her. She was worried for Ray though she was scared that she might not see him again and that would be a bad feeling since she managed to make a new friend and just the thought that she might not see him again made her upset, but she wasn't going to show how upset she would be. She had to survive for her baby and no one else. She ran through the tree's as she began to hear moaning behind her. "Oh great Walkers." She mumbled to herself and began to run. There was no time for her to catch her breathe. She knew the only way to survive was to run until she found a gas station.
After running for awhile she had made it to a black road and from there she could see a dim light and a gas station sign. Finally she had made it to were he wanted her to go. She looked around the area keeping her eye's opened. There was no sign of walker's which that meant most of them were back near the station or around that area where Ray was. She walked to the station and grabbed a flashlight to see if there would be any walker's inside. She opened the door and found a chain right next to the opening of the gas station. She shut the door first and looked around with her flashlight ontop of her gun. There was no sign of any walker's. She looked and found nothing. So since she knew she was safe she quickly chained up the door and went into the very back where it would be the safest. She took deep breathes and was hoping moring would approach soon enough so she could see Ray again, and so she wouldn't be all alone once again either..

Ray knew the plan wouldn't work, but he had managed to convince her otherwise. But for some reason, he felt bad letting her go as she gave him a very big hug and a kiss on the cheek. His first plan was to let her go, just as he said and try to come back for her. Then, in the hours that came he decided to go with her, but now his new plan was to follow her silently to see if she needed help. As she left he waited for about a minute or two, then he gathered all his stuff and untied the rope that was tied around the knob of the back door. He jumped down the steps silently and took a long route to the city.
It took hours for him to get there and finally he found her tracks along a small bark path. Never follow trails! Theres more than Zombies out here! And just as he thought that a loud scream went off behind him and four bullets were shot at him. Ray turned in time to see a man with a Snub nosed Revolver and tattered clothes leap up out of the bushes. Ray turned and pointed his gun, but didn't shoot.
This wasn't a zombie, it was a Hoarder. The Hoarder calmed down a bit and spluttered towards Ray, who was lying on his elbow with his gun ready. "Hmm, Rogers found a nice one today." He chuckled. "Come with me boy! I'll find you a nice home." He said leaning in closer so that Ray could smell his tabacco breath.
Then Ray had an idea and silently looked over the man's shoulder. The Hoarder saw him and quickly turned around to face what Ray was looking at and Ray took his chance and bolted off the trail and to what looked like west. He heard the man yell a sort of battle cry and the bushes behind him crunching under the Hoarder's feet. After a few minutes of running he turned right and jumped into a small bush. The Hoarder who was hot on his trail went on and after a few seconds came back the way he came, unaware of Ray's presence in the bush. As Ray watched him go out of sight he ran north towards his destination.
The sun was gone and the moon replaced it on the other side of the horizon. Told you. He thought to himself. He should have killed him, he was crazy and probably sick. He pushed the thought out of his mind and focused on finding that town. After what felt like years but what was only hours he found the small town of Mertzon.
The road was black and the yellow lines were faded. The traffic-lights were still working but most were knocked down. He looked to see a Gas Station that read, MARS GAS SUPPLY and looked at the front door, it was chained. He quickly came around the back to find three zombies feeding on a corpse. "Dylan." He whispered.
Ray got an idea and reached for a beer bottle that was lying on the ground. He then grabbed some tape out of his pocket and taped it around the nose of his gun. He grabbed three more bottles and got them ready as silently as possible. He got up and repositioned himself in a small brush just behind the ugly monsters. He fired a round into one of it's head and the gun let off no sound, but the zombie slumped into it's dinner. The other's had no idea.
Then he placed the next bottle on the nose and fired another and did the same with the third. Easy. He thought cockily. He groaned slightly as he pushed himself off his stomach and he dusted himself off. He walked over to the corpse and saw that it was a man! It wasn't Dylan's body who had been eaten, but just to be safe, he shot the man in between the eyes.
Ray then went to the back door and knocked four times, paused and knocked two more times, hoping she heard or was still alive.
