Character Name: Sakura Jin Lee
Age: 19
Hometown: Fukuoka, Japan.
Current Location: In Atlanta, Georgia.
Bio: Sakura was born in a town near Fukuoka, Japan, June 6 1991. she lived there a normal life, Her father was a martial arts professor and her mother was a doctor. She has an older brother, whom she got along really well. Since she could walk, his father taught her all he knew about martial arts, by the age of 12 she was already a black belt in four disciplines and by the age of fifteen she was almost a perfect swordsman.
Although her father wanted her brother and her to continue with the Dojo, she didn't want that, she just wanted to be a normal girl, with a normal life, so she just refuged in her studies. Her parents were really attached to traditions, so they decided that she would get married with the son of a very good friend of her father.
She hated that idea so, when she was 18 years old and ready to go to college, she decided to go to America, she wanted to be as far as her parents as she could. She went to the University of Georgia, to study a mayor on teaching a second language. Everything was perfect but the fact that her brother wasn't there, he had always been her best friend. He went to visit her a year after she left Japan.
But nothing lasts forever, A year after she got USA, everything turned into hell. The dead began to rise just after they died! Her brother was with her when that happened, they first stood in Atlanta as the authorities said. Kaede, her brother, tried to take her back to japan, but the airports were closed, so they had to stay there.
Her brother was the one who told her to take her stuff and they could get out of the city like 3 days before Atlanta was completely blocked. They lived all by themselves for more or less a month, they went into the city just to find some food and tools and went out before the walkers could catch them. They even found a really good pair of Katanas (japanese swords) which they used to defend demselves.
But in one of those raids, they got separated by a group of walkers, Sakura could get to their check point hours later, but even when she waited for days for her brother, he never showed up, although the probabilities of him of being alive are almost zero, she knows he is alive. She had to leave that place but left a note grabbed on a tree trunk for kaede, then she left.
A week after that she met Rick Grimmes's group and asked if she could join them. She offered her ability to use the sword to keep them safe without the awful and dangerous sound of a gun, so they agreed to let her stay. She doesn't really like nor trust Shane, but she would never kill a living person, however she could do it, if that could asure her the survival of the ones she care about.

Roleplay Sample: Since Liza was a kid, doctors found a degenerative heart disease, they said that with medicines they could control it, delay the inevitable result of it. but that in the future she would need a new heart. then the invasion occured, and she ran away with Luke, they knew that maybe soul's medicine could heal her, but for that she should have turned in and accept insertion, something that never happened.
As they kept running away, Luke got into old medicine stores and stole all the human medicine that Liza needed to delay her disease. But like three years before getting into the caves, they ran out of medicine and and her disease began to get worse, that's when Luke begged her to try the soul medicine, he promised to keep her safe from insertion.
And they did, they went to a hospital in Las Vegas, there Luke posed as a Seeker and walked with her into the hospital, they gave her medicines, with silly names on the labels, but it was weird, her case was one in 10 billions, really weird, and soul's medicine wasn't able to heal her. He heart cells got healed for an hour or two, but then they began to deteriorate again.
When Luke saw this, he decided that it was a lot of risk to have her there, any moment they could decide to dispose her body, so he stole as much as he could of the medicine that they gave her, and then ran away with her. the medicines he stole, lasted until three weeks after they got into the caves. but Liza didn't tell him, she didn't want him to go on a raid and be expossed just for her.
So that very morning she woke up and felt that it was very difficult to get enough oxigen into her lungs, and felt how her heart was beating in an erratic way. She calmed down and got up, and cleaned a bit just to look and be presentable, she could be dying, but she wasn't going to be a dirty corp. Then she went to the infirmary.
Come on... you can make it...
breathing deeply and walking really slowly, Liza was getting closer to the infirmary, it was noon and for sure everyone was working of the planting halls or maybe washing clothes, but the one who was walking to the infirmary really wished Doc would be in the infirmary or at least the other one... the woman that used to be a healer, Ian had told her about them.
finally she got to the end of the southern tunnel, but when she looked inside there was no one in there, no Doc, no Candy, that's the name she could remember for that woman. this is no good...she shook her head and then thought. if I could only remember where I left the bottle!
I guess... that if I have a seat... it won't bother... Doc.she said s she tried to breath deeply to get more oxigen into her lungs, but it was kind of difficult when you had a heart disease.
She walked to one of the cots and sat on it, she breathed deeply, if she was lucky enough, Doc would have the soul's medicine that delayed her disease in his cabinets, if not... well a month or maybe two before she ended up with the ones that had already left this world.
