Character Name: Jacob Snyder
Age: 24
Hometown: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Current Location: Somewhere in North Carolina
Bio:
Jacob was born and raised in the same house in the small farming community of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is the eldest of four children, and has lived at home his whole life. His family owns a farm, and he had been helping raise the animals and crops since he was able to walk. When he reached highschool age, Jacob went to an agricultural school since farming was his passion.
He never went to college because he couldn't afford it, and neither could his family. Jacob was perfectly content on working on the farm however, and saving for his sisters to be able to go to school instead. Neither he nor his other brother and parents wanted them to be stuck on a ranch their whole life. They had much more potential then that.
When there were whispers of a 'sickness' going through the country, his family decided they needed to stock up on things their farm couldn't provide, including animal feed. Jacob said he would stay behind to begin reinforcing one of their horse barns, but when night feel and his family didn't return, Jacob began to panic. He drove the farm truck to town and found nothing but devastation, and walkers.
So he holed up on the farm, and waited for their return, sure they would be coming back.

Roleplay Sample:
From a site with Infected. Link is Here I play Ryder.
Ryder was sitting in the corner of the room, his back wedged up tight to the crevice. He was exhausted since he hadn't slept since the night before last being stuck at work all night for a large party. A few stars had come in to celebrate a birthday, and it had been an all night affair that lasted well into the early morning. Ryder had been in the midst of cleaning up the club when the alarm went out. He had the television on when it went to an emergency broadcast went off, but there wasn't much said. It just said to find your nearest evacuation area and get there quickly.
Of course that had sent everyone into a panic. He heard all of the people in the surrounding restaurants and shops getting up from whatever they were doing and running out into the streets. The news had a way of giving as little information as possible and letting everyone imagination fill in the blanks. It was ridiculous, but Ryder figured he'd rather be safe then sorry. Grabbing his cell phone, and gun he kept locked up in his desk, he told his crew to leave, and he locked the place up before heading out himself.
He just decided to follow the crowd, keeping his gun tightly holstered by his side not wanting to be stopped by swarms of police and military wandering about. He was guess some sort of bomb threat, or a leak of some caustic gas from the many factories on the outskirts of the city. Doing his best not to deck the people bumping into him and grabbing inappropriate parts of his body, Ryder let himself get ushered into Lennox hospital where they were supposed to sit and wait.
The infection, as he had figured out through small talk, was spreading around the city, and the military was supposed to pick them up and take them off the island. Fat chance. He had been sitting by a window most of the time, and was watching the chaos below, flinching as the cops started to open fire on not turned citizens.
Sometime later it had calmed down outside a bit, and he had his head resting against the wall where he sat when someone stood up and said they were sitting ducks, they had to move. The cop didn't move to silence the guy, and Ryder looked around at the shocked faces that were eating up what this guy said.
"Sit down," Ryder said moodily as he pushed himself up off the floor rubbing one of his temples. "You are going to scare these people," he said nodding to a mother who was covering her child's ear.
Moving closer to the guy he grabbed his arm and turned him away from the group of small families huddled in a corner and hissed "if you would like to leave, go right ahead, I sure as hell ain't going to stop you, but I sure as hell ain't coming out there to save you either. You heard the screaming through the vents, I am sure there are still some lurking in the halls."
Letting go of the guy, Ryder looked around the room to see if other people agreed with him. The last thing he wanted was this old man upsetting the white knuckled cop in the corner, if he tried to start a revolt they were all screwed.
