I could definitely see that with Shane and Emmy. Especially since Emmy doesn't have any family (she was living 5 hours away from them when the Walker outbreak happened). Perhaps Shane could be some twisted way of filling a void? Perhaps he could catch onto that's what he is before Emmy does? If anything I think the two of them would even each other out though if Emmy ever caught wind that Shane was lusting after Lori she probably would have a hard time dealing with that (Emmy hates homewreckers and cheaters.. call her old fashioned). That might put a little riff in their friendship/whatever they have.
As for Lillian, anything really would work. And naturally if Shane was protective over Beatrix maybe he'd believe the lie that she told Lillian about the McKenna brothers (that she told to get Lillian to leave) which could lead to some drama when the two pop in to the Atlanta crowd.

Shane and Emmy I think Shane is used to being used by now and I think in some twisted way he likes it. So yeah we can do that and I think Shane would realize it and at first be a little worried and then feel good about being able to be there for someone. And even if it’s that she catches on to him lusting after Lori there is also still Ella that could perhaps put a kink in this happy little family. Ah the plot thickens. He doesn’t seem like the kind of man that would want a woman telling him anything regarding his “love” life.
Shane and Lillian Oh I like that. He believes the lie because he doesn’t know the boys and because he would have no reason to not trust the girls. When they do show up, his alpha male over protectiveness would kick in and there would be trouble. I can kind of see how that would play out and I kind of feel bad for everyone involved but still, it’s good.
